For US & Canadian lift planners
Crane CAD Blocks for US Lift Directors
Dynamic AutoCAD crane blocks (DWG) for lift directors, lift planners, rigging engineers and crane companies in the US and Canada. Drop accurate Liebherr mobile and crawler cranes into your critical lift plans and rigging plans, instead of redrawing the crane on every job.

Built by a lift planner, for lift planners
Every block is drawn 1:1 to manufacturer dimensions by a working Appointed Person. That’s the UK role that plans and takes charge of crane lifts, much like a lift director in the US. The blocks are used on real lift plans before they’re released, so they’re built for the way lift plans actually get drawn, not as generic CAD clip-art.
What’s in the library
- Liebherr mobile cranes: LTM all-terrain cranes from the LTM 1040-2.1 up to the LTM 1750-9.1, plus the LTC 1050-3.1, LG 1750 and MK 140
- Liebherr crawler cranes: the LR series from the LR 1200 up to the LR 11000
- Trucks and trailers and tackle and rigging gear
Browse every block, with a demo video for each, in the full Dynamic Blocks library.
Why dynamic blocks speed up your critical lift plans
- One block, many configurations: switch boom lengths, outrigger positions, counterweight and hook blocks from the block’s own grips and parameters.
- Accurate footprints: outrigger and track layouts drawn 1:1 for checking site clearances and ground-bearing areas.
- Clean layers: a layer structure that keeps your lift plan and rigging plan drawings tidy and easy to print.
- Plan and elevation: place, rotate and check the crane in plan view, then show the lift in elevation.
Units
All blocks are metric, drawn 1:1 in millimetres. The drop-down menus in each block, including boom lengths, ballast weights and hook block capacities, are in metric too.
File format and compatibility
All blocks are dynamic .dwg files that work in AutoCAD 2015 and later. Download them straight from your account after subscribing.
A note on load charts
The blocks show crane geometry for planning and drawing. Capacities for any specific lift must always be confirmed against the manufacturer’s load charts by a qualified person, in line with your site’s requirements and ASME B30.5.
